an Actor, Director, Writer and freelance film and theatre artist. She is grateful and proud and very happy to be pursuing her art!

Education
Jess has a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Drama and American Studies from The University of Virginia. During her time there, she was able to get involved with almost every theatre and film group available to her working as:
Actor in theatrical productions with the UVA Department of Drama, Live Arts, First Year Players, Virginia Players, and UVA Drama’s Diversity and Inclusion Reading Series
Actor in films with LabShorts, Virginia Filmmakers Society, and the Virginia Film Festival’s Adrenaline Film Project
Production Stage Manager with Heritage Theatre Festival; Assistant Stage Manager, run crew, paint tech and lighting tech with UVA Drama
Administrator with Virginia Players, First Year Players, and Heritage Theatre Festival
In addition to performing, Jess spent her final year of school writing and directing her first short film The Call.
